What is Lucky 15 Betting ?

This term is usually applied to Horse racing and many tipsters provide a daily lucky 15 hoping to hit the big time with some horses at bigger odds. This bet is a rather complicated bet that has 15 lines and 4 selections. That means if your stake is £1 the bet will cost your £15. The bet consists of :

4 singles = A , B , C , D

6 doubles = A & B , A & C, A & D , B & C , B & D , C & D

4 trebles = A & B & C , A & B & D , A & C & D, B & C & D

1 fourfold = A & B & C & D

With one pound on each. Profit is generally achieved with 2 or more correct selections with 4 normally bringing massive winnings.

This type of betting is usually used in Horse Racing for example :

Tom bet’s £15 total on a lucky 15 bet. The 4 horses are all 4/1 .

1.) All the horses lose , therefore Tom loses his £15 stake.

2.) 1 horse wins, therefore Tom wins 1 single at 4/1 which returns £5.

3.) 2 horses win, therefore Tom wins , 2 singles and a double which returns £35.

4.) 3 horses win, therefore Tom wins, 3 singles , 3 doubles and 1 treble which returns £215.

5.) 4 horses win, therefore Tom wins, 4 singles, 6 doubles, 4 trebles and 1 fourfold which returns £1295.

Some bookmakers such as Totesport  offer best odds guaranteed on Horse racing which means you will get the best odds from a bookmaker .
